This is Nancy Levine's first Borzoi and she called him "Kiev." He ran in one of the first Iron Dog Lure Trials put on by the Pharoah Hound and River City coursing clubs when he was almost 11 years old. Kiev won 1st out of 4, 1st out of 2, and 2nd of 2 in those trials. Later that same month at the BCNC hosted National Specialty, he took 2nd in the veterans stake. His sire was Pickle Hill's Pendragon and his dam was Rhoda Azure of Odessa.
