Coursing Champions
Pickle Hill's Bridie Fch LCM II CC CM

Pedigree

Bridie was labeled the alligator dog for her uncanny ability to catch the rabbit in OFC. Her abilites on the lure are proven by having earned an LCM II - a first for a Califonia Borzoi. (she was the third Borzoi in the state to have earned an LCM, her kennel mate CC being the first)

She was very successful in a highly competitive field of not only her own littermates, but also the offspring of CC, and the competition from the dogs belonging to the Cowan's (Zephyr's Reach), Pam Mayberry (Mayberry), and Lynn Green. She earned two Best In Fields - a rare prize here in California. She had a lifetime score of 350 points in the open field with multiple takes!

I did not include her in the Pickle Hill breeding program because she had an inflexable back. In spite of that, she never let us down with her running ability. She was a living testament to the fact that coursing for these Borzoi is a "mind over matter" ability. Selecting for this trait should be as important as selecting for conformation!

Bridie is out of Zephyr's Reach Syn Pickle Hill CM and Rancho Gabriel Canby FCh CC CM. She is litter mate to Whoopie, Oreo, Da Vinci, and "Coto." This litter was amazingly successful with all but one littermate having amazing running titles.
